Urbandale, Iowa – North Central Poultry Association (NCPA) is pleased to announce Isabella Von Seggern as the recipient of the Poultry and Egg Scholarship, and Tianna Charlson as the recipient of Blair Van Zetten’s Poultry and Egg Scholarship.

Both Von Seggern and Charlson currently attend Iowa State University. Von Seggern studies Animal Science and is an undergraduate researcher for the ISU Poultry Physiology Lab. Charlson studies Animal Science while serving as an intern with the Egg Industry Center as a Communications Assistant.

"These are just the kind of young people we wanted to recognize when we created the scholarship program. The future of the poultry and egg industry is in good hands,” states Kevin Stiles, Executive Director of North Cental Poultry Association.

Both Von Seggern and Charlson plan to continue working in the poultry and egg industry post college. NCPA is excited for their growth during their time at Iowa State University.
